Surrender

It is easy to sit in the sanctuary, and sing I surrender all,
But do we remember singing it, when we hear God call?
And every time He calls, it isn’t to be a missionary or preach,
There are many parts to the body, as there are many people we need to reach,
Some days God just might want us to simply kneel and pray,
Then there are times we need to take hold of someone, and lead them into God’s way,
We just need to look in the mirror, and say when God calls, send me,
This world is in a terrible bondage, and we need to show them how to be free,
For the fields are truly white to harvest, so who else will go?
It is by God’s directive, that we need to help them know,
That someone died for them, so they won’t have to be sin’s slave,
And they too can get Jesus, for He is mighty to save.
