Newness of Life

Jesus didn’t come to earth so that our lives would be filled with sorrow,
He came to give us hope, for today and all our tomorrows,
For our lives are not worth anything, if filled with stress and strife,
Jesus came for our salvation, so we could walk in newness of life,
For He loves us, as if we were the only one,
And we should be eternally grateful, for all that He has done,
He wants our whole life, and don’t want to settle for anything less,
So we should live for Him, if we expect Him to bless,
Just remember when our backs are up against the wall,
Jesus is our provider, and He will provide for all,
And He will be our strength, in everything we have to do,
So be happy in Jesus, for He is there for you.
