Being God's Children

Satan is a liar, and he is the great deceiver,
But he has no claim on me, I'm a blood-bought, born again believer,
The closer I get to Jesus, the greater the temptations that come my way,
I just have to stay single-minded, steadfast in my faith each day,
And focus constantly on my Jesus, God's only Son,
I can't wait to hear the words, Satan you are forever done,
Hallelujah for the knowledge, that my eternity is secure,
And it's all because of Calvary, what Jesus had to endure,
So today I seek to be, what He wants me to be,
And I've come to the realization, that my life isn't all about me,
That the love that God gives to me, He means for me to share,
So a lost and dying world, will know God's children care.
