By His Power

On the edge of the promised land, I see the fear of the Israelites,
After being led out of bondage by God, they forgot the power of His might,
And on the Damascus Road, Saul feared when blinded by God's light,
But after three days he was converted, and God restored his sight,
Jonah ran away from God, and was swallowed by a whale,
After three days the whale threw him up, and Jonah preached to save others from hell,
Now as I look in the Bible, it reminds me I was a rebel in my day,
But one day I repented, and found Jesus when I prayed,
Today I talk to Him constantly, and daily seek His will,
I know that I'm not perfect, but when I slip God forgives me still,
Today I live for Him, may He mold me into what He wants me to be,
For in Him I have eternal life, and by Him I've been set free.
