Part of the Body

Of His body the church, Jesus is the head,
He was raised triumphantly over the devil, raised up from the dead,
I am a part of this body, but may only be a big toe,
But whatever part I am, I'm going to let the whole world know,
For God did not create me, just to sit around,
He wants me to share His love, this treasure that I've found,
For this sinful world is dying, and souls are going to hell,
And how are they going to hear about my Savior, if I don't go to them and tell,
But I am not alone, for all Christians it's the same,
It is the believer's duty, to reach the world in Jesus' name,
So are we going, or are we sending, but at the very least I know we're giving,
And every minute that we're breathing, others should see Jesus in our living.
