Dead Souls

As I'm walking through my life, everywhere I look I see dead souls,
Those that follow after the world, those who don't let God have control,
I felt that these dead souls were blind to the truth, that they couldn't see,
And Lord the thought came to me, these souls are dead because of me,
I wanted to just lay down on the floor, I felt the tears, as I started to cry,
Oh Lord what have I done, to let these poor souls die?
God spoke to my spirit telling me, it's the things I had not done,
That I selfishly keep His love to myself, and hadn't told the dead souls about His Son,
To not be responsible for the dead souls, I needed to start showing them His Way,
That I need to share His love, and do more for them than just pray,
May I tell them of the salvation, that You died sacrificially to give,
So that You can use me Lord, to help the dead souls live.
