Into Newness

Lord I thank You for coming into my life, and causing my old self to perish,
For You have raised me into newness of life to worship You, whom I cherish,
In praising You I want You, to take over my whole being,
Because it is through Your eyes it is the real truth, that I am now seeing,
And in faith I know You died, was buried, and raised up the third day,
This sacrifice for my salvation, has taken all my sins away,
The love You pour into me, flows through me, and then flows out,
Filling me, then overflowing, so others can see what You're all about,
I love You with all my heart, mind, and soul, and will love others as myself too,
So everything I do, think, or say, will point the lost ones straight to You,
To stand before You and hear You say well done, are words that I will cherish,
And to know I will live eternally with You, in a new body that will never perish.
