Oh At the Name

Who but Jesus, can bring peace to a troubled heart?
When there seems to be no hope, when everything is coming apart,
The trials of life are many, often we think they are overwhelming,
We wonder what the devil has planned next, what trouble he is bringing,
Our eyes wander off our Savior, that’s not where they need to be,
For it should be His eyes, through which we all want to see,
To see that life is full of good things, that the good outweighs the bad,
And life is a whole lot better, when we follow the things that make us glad,
But Satan seeks ways to distract us, to see which strings he can pull,
To keep us all off balance, but with God’s love our hearts are full,
Because we have an answer for Satan, from which we will never be the same,
It brings us the eternal victory, and Jesus Christ is His name.
