This is the time of year, when outside it looks so dreary,
And just surviving it, can really make a person weary,
If it snows just a little bit, it is perilous to drive,
By the time Springtime gets here, I'm so glad to be alive,
I promise I won't complain about the heat, no matter how hot it may be,
And if I can cook eggs on the sidewalk, well that's alright with me,
Who wants to build a snowman, when a sandcastle is much better?
And the beach surely is a place, where I don't mind getting wetter,
So have hope because I promise you, things are going to improve,
And when it does I won't ache and hurt so much, when I decide to move,
Winter is just a season, that makes me wish I was a bear,
So I hope this thought comforts you, it's Summertime somewhere.
