I engage the enemy in spiritual warfare, every single day,
That is why the Lord exhorts me, to read His Word and pray,
To participate in praise and worship, to open my eyes so I can see,
To open my heart so I can learn about, all God wants me to be,
May the pastor reveal to me Your truth Lord, and be my faithful guide,
So in the safe sanctuary of Your will, I will constantly abide,
Anything the devil throws at me, I don't have to fear,
For I know Lord You are my protector, and You always linger near,
May I always pursue the Heavenly things, and not those of the flesh,
Because only You Lord are worthy, and only You can bless,
And You ever sanctify me, and You set me apart,
So may I eagerly share You, as Your love floods my heart.
