Ever Mindful

Lord may I be mindful of You every day, and all throughout the day,
So I will be in Your perfect peace, as I follow in Your Way,
Continue growing this relationship, that is between You and me,
That I never quit becoming, who You want me to be,
For I would not be like a lukewarm drink, that You would spit out,
But may I be steady and ever true, so of my faith there is no doubt,
May I be single-minded, not letting things of this world draw me away,
So in everything I am in Your will, in all I do and say,
For I'll never return to my old life, it's one place I won't go back,
For You Lord ever bless me, and my existence in You has no lack ,
Now I will always look to You, and keep my mind on things above,
For the temptations of Satan will never compare, to Your eternal love.
