To Please Him

Lord You came to earth and sacrificed Your life, to pay sin's terrible cost,
You forgave my sins and forgot them, even the memory of them lost,
Your resurrection, a victory, a sign of God's awesome power,
And I know that You're seated at God's right hand, at this very hour,
I can feel Your wonderful presence, and know Your angels hover near,
No matter what life may throw at me, with You I face it without fear,
I am so elated knowing, what my future has in store,
Great is the hope I have in You, and eternity holds so much more,
There is no way I can repay You, for what You've done and soon will do,
The best way I can try, is to be ever faithful to You,
So all that I encounter, will know I'm walking in God's amazing light,
And to live my life so that it's always, pleasing in Your sight.
