To Count For Something

I want my life to count for something, oh Lord while I am here,
And I pray whatever I am doing, I won't be ashamed to have You near,
But Lord I need You to take my hand, because I want You to lead,
It is Your will I seek to do, and Your guidance I really need,
For I am human Lord, and have a tendency to slip,
That is why I need You to hold me, and maintain a firm grip,
I know there is none other, who could change me like You do,
And for the changes You have made, this is the reason I love You,
Daily I try to learn more about You, so that I can really grow,
For everything about You, is what I long to know,
I know You know my heart Lord, that is why to You I cling,
And as long as I live my life for You, I know it will count for something.
