Oh Messiah

Just as sure as the star to Bethlehem’s manger pointed,
Lord You truly are God’s anointed,
Messiah, oh what a beautiful name,
Our salvation, the main reason why You came,
And Your hanging on a cross in agonizing pain,
So we might eternal life gain,
Worthy You helped me to be,
So Heaven one day I will see,
Now I only want to live for You,
Avoid temptation, keep my heart true,
Hear the praises that I sing,
For Lord You truly are my Savior and King.
