One Day With You

Better is one day in Your presence Lord, than a thousand any other place,
To hear You call me good and faithful, when I see You face to face,
Being where there is no pain, no fear, and there will also be no sorrow,
Not having to worry about anything, especially what might happen tomorrow,
To sit with You Lord and listen to the angelic choir, as they constantly sing,
I know that I will sing too, and what wonderful joy that will bring,
How great it is to envision things, that I will one day see,
And I will get to experience it, because You changed the heart in me,
But the present task is to plant the seeds, so that other souls can be saved,
Because I know personally how it is, when you're living as sin's slave,
I am now a born again believer, Jesus has set me free,
And that one day I long to spend with Him, will actually be an eternity.
