Jesus died for our salvation and healing, it is a package deal,
By the faith we have in Jesus, we can see that this is real,
Satan makes sin look real enticing, he wants you to take the bait,
But I have been saved by Jesus, and I choose not to participate,
Our Lord willingly became our substitute, and bore all of our sins,
As He bore all of our sins, our sicknesses were also placed on Him,
Nailed to an old rugged cross, an altar of sacrifice,
Jesus created our way to salvation, and paid an awful price,
As our body and spirit were bought with this price, God we need to glorify,
Redemption and healing paid for, the devil wants us to believe this is a lie,
But I know God's Word is true, I will not let the message of the cross be lost,
So I am living all of my life, in the dual provision of the cross.

Within His Plan
God You created man, then man rebelled against You,
But You are trying to win us back, and won't stop until You do,
For we have a rebellious nature, and have a tendency to sin,
When we should be following Jesus, salvation is only found in Him,
Sometimes we seem to get caught up, in life's worldly pleasures,
Guess we need to look at the place, where we are storing up our treasures,
Remember Jesus died on an old rugged cross, so that we could be set free,
And it is only through Him, that we can live in victory,
I want to live my life for God, and do it totally,
So I can walk every step along the way, within the plan He has for me,
Somewhere along the way, that plan includes helping others too,
And in the helping of others Lord, I pray I'm leading them to You.

Got Salvation
When it comes to my salvation, I will always tell the truth and never lie,
To be a witness for You Lord, ever prepared to testify,
For when I was lost in my sin, and wandering in the night,
You brought me out of the darkness, into Your glorious light,
To be a shining example, of what Your power can do,
How You can take a sinful man, and make His heart brand new,
It was Your only Son, who hung on a cross because of me,
Now in His salvation, He opened my eyes so I can see,
The glory of His presence, since He saved me from my sin,
So now to keep my life on track, I keep my eyes on Him,
For the memory of the cross, is never far away,
And because of this sacrifice, I will praise and worship Him every day.

Like a Flood
Lord it is so wonderful, when You come in like a flood,
And life is so much more beautiful, knowing I'm covered by Your blood,
I'm glad You are there with me, in my darkest hour,
Seeing all the miracles You do, shows me Your great power,
Your never ending love, gives me reason to live,
And Your sharing it with me, also makes me want to give,
Serving the great I Am, seeking what He has for me,
His will takes me to the place, where He wants to be,
So use me Lord and lead me, where You would have me go,
For the reflection of You only, is all I want to show,
Everyone needs to know what it's like, to be covered by Your blood,
So they too can experience You, when You come in like a flood.

God is Bigger
Nothing we ever encounter, is bigger than the universe God has made,
When we look at the bigness of God, our problems will start to fade,
For there isn't anything, that God doesn't have a handle on,
And through our faith in Him, we can expect it to be gone,
For God wants us to be prosperous and healthy, and not be sick and poor,
By His mercy, grace, and favor, He gives us so much more,
The greatest gift He's given us, is His Son, He is the best,
Given in His love, and in this love my soul finds rest,
Salvation I have found in Christ, and I'm saved for eternity,
So I will not dwell on the bad, but on the good things God has for me,
God is always positive, and wants us to be too,
For there is never any negative, in God's plans for me and you.

Just Saying
The joy of the Lord is my strength, and I will dwell therein,
With Christ, no matter what I encounter, I put my trust in Him,
I will not be discouraged, but will speak what I'm believing,
And what I am believing for, will be what I am receiving,
I have not read anywhere in God's Word, where He's taken any promises back,
So as long as I am in His will, I don't think I will experience any lack,
God spoke creation into existence, today His words aren't any less,
He still possesses the same power to heal, save, and to bless,
So why should I speak anything, that causes me to doubt?
We should speak of our salvation, really this should make us shout,
Remember we should only speak the words, that our hearts are saying,
And this shouldn't be too difficult, if we spend a lot more time praying.

What's Best

And that I need to slow down some, and try to make life simple,
For we don't need to do all this rushing around, like we're running in high gear,
We need to take it easy, so that still small voice we can hear,
Jesus lived His ministry, and got place to place just by walking,
And thousands gathered around to hear Him, when He started talking,
It sure would be a lot easier, to live at that slower pace,
Not like a minute makes a difference, as we run the human race,
Now in the spiritual a minute, can be a thousand years,
But if we're living in the spiritual, we won't be running after earthly fears,
For God has a plan for each of us, what He wants us to do,
So let's just slow down and seek His will, it is what's best for me and you.

Our Life's Calling
Reaching the lost, a labor of love, the fruit of which we savor,
Living for God, an act of love, dwelling in Your favor,
Touching someone, with some kindness, when there is a need,
Cultivating lives for my Savior, helping to plant seeds,
Letting someone overloaded with their problems, know that there is hope,
Comforting those who are in mourning, helping them to cope,
Showing the sick that there is healing, and that we really care,
Visiting the lonely and the elderly, so they know someone is there,
For there's more to being a believer, than just forgiveness for our sins,
Jesus did preaching, teaching, and healing, we should seek to be more like Him,
For whoever we meet, whatever their issue, we surely can be all,
This is the reason for our living, when we answer God's call.

Getting With the Plan
Today I write another page, of my life's biography,
And I don't want anything to reflect badly, on the one who set me free,
For Jesus has given me eternal life, He's the only one who can,
So I want to follow each step He has, for me in His master plan,
And for this to actually happen, I must be exactly in His will,
Cause the devil wants to sneak back in, to see what part of my life he can steal,
But Jesus guards me from temptation, my eternity is secure,
And He helps me be single-minded, so that all my thoughts are pure,
In every part of my life, consistency is the key,
Steadfast and sure in my faith, is how I need to be,
I will always be very thankful, for the change Jesus has made in me,
For I'm always glad to add good things, to my life's biography.

Prayer and Fasting
Sometimes there are things that require, a whole lot of prayer and fasting,
And I must use all that God gives me, as I head toward life everlasting,
For every day is a spiritual battle, a never ending fight,
Yet it is made so much easier, when I'm walking in God's divine light,
The devil wants me to hear his garbage, so that he can deceive,
But I choose to listen to God, and all He says believe,
Through my darkest valley, the truth will see me through,
And God is always there, to walk with me it's true,
His angels are all around me, guarding every path I trod,
I have chosen the straight and narrow one, which leads me directly to God,
For I accepted the salvation Jesus offered me, giving me life everlasting,
Yet in this human life I live, there will be times for prayer and fasting.

Glory Tasted
Lord of anything I'm needing, I know You will supply,
And I can never repay all You've done, no matter how I try,
Once I was a lost sinner, my soul running on empty,
But You have saved my soul, and set my spirit free,
Because of this I can honestly say, that all my days have been brighter,
And since I rely on You Lord, all my burdens have been lighter,
For You oh God are great, why is that so hard to believe?
Through Your Son's sacrifice, eternal life can be received,
Just like the plans God had for Jesus, God has plans for us to fulfill,
And we receive God's blessings, when we live within God's will,
So we need to live our lives for Him, so that they won't be wasted,
And this should be real easy, since His glory we have tasted.

I Believe It All
Do you believe in healing? Well I most certainly do,
For the Bible is full of healing miracles, so it must be true,
I believe every bit of God's Word, and do not disregard any part,
The Holy Spirit guides me, as God's love fills my heart,
For Jesus hung on a cross, to bring salvation and healing too,
Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by God's Word, telling us what to do,
And God would not have us miss anything, He has promised to give,
For He would not have us suffer, in any part of this life we live,
If earth would be like Heaven, then everyone will be well,
And we'll curse disease and sickness, and send it back to hell,
Every second that I'm breathing, it's God's presence that I am feeling,
So if you believe God's Word, you too can have divine healing.

Totally Selfless
I pray Lord for more humility, so I will be more selfless,
So I will be a pure vessel, through which others You can bless,
That I can share Your holy love, with everyone I know,
For Your Holy Spirit pours it into my heart, so much it overflows,
Lord I need to share Your message, wherever I am every day,
And I need to be constantly in contact with You, meaning I always need to pray,
To put myself aside, so that You can really use me,
So I can lead others to the place, where Your salvation can set them free,
For I want to take every opportunity Lord, to lead someone to You,
Cause You are truly the only one, who can make their hearts brand new,
May my life ever of You be more, and of me let it be less,

What a Wonderful Place
Oh how wonderful the lives of those, who follow after God,
Whose feet walk in His Way, the very path that He has trod,
And who have gained eternal life, knowing there is no spiritual death,
That it is not the end, when they take their last earthly breath,
Oh how wonderful the thought, that one day we'll live in Heaven,
And we'll be able to worship in person, the one who saved us from our sin,
To walk the streets of gold, with friends and family,
Just this simple thought, thrills the heart in me,
And if I could envision what awaits us, it's something I would gladly share,
It will take more than my words, to describe what awaits us there,
My eternity was assured, the day that I believed,
In Jesus as my Savior, and His salvation I received.

Heavenly Beaches
Up under a big umbrella, in a chair on the hot sand,
Looking out over the water, a scene created by God's hand,
Just soaking in the beauty, the best found anywhere,
And really trying to act, like I don't have another care,
The waves breaking upon the shore, is music to my ears,
It is a most relaxing sound, one that I love to hear,
Every time I'm at the beach, I feel like God is near,
And if God has a vacation home, I'm sure it is right here,
Just like Jesus, I'm sure that God likes to walk along the beach,
And I can sense His presence, He is always within reach,
If I think this is like paradise, heaven will be a wonderful place to see,
I believe I'll see a beach there, with an umbrella and chair waiting just for me.

Love Flood
I bow down before the holy one, who on a cross all my sins bore,
And I honestly can say, I will love Him from now until forevermore,
He is the creator of perfect love, which He freely gives,
May I reflect His being my Savior, by the way I live,
For His love lights up the devil's darkness, and conquers all my fears,
And I have a beautiful peace, just knowing He is near,
For the wages of sin is death, a price I do not want to pay,
But Jesus paid it for me, oh I'm thankful for that day,
I will honor the sacrifice that He made, by seeking His will for me,
So I will gain more wisdom and knowledge, of all He would have me be,

Loud and Proud
I am not an accident that happened, but truly God knows me,
He knew me before I was conceived, had plans for what He wants me to be,
And now He directs my paths, everything I say and do,
This was a choice I made, to Him my heart is true,
I will not be distracted, by something in my history,
Not when through the King of kings, my soul has been set free,
For I have peace in God's love, it has cast out all my fear,
And I will not have any doubts, for it is God's voice I hear,
I will not listen to the devil's lies, for that is all he tells,

Believing His Promises
I still have my aches and pains, and have hope that one day I’ll be pain free,
For I believe in the divine health, that the Bible promises me,
I also believe that God prospers us, if we have faith in Him,
Why would He want us to suffer, if He forgives us of our sins?
Knowing He sent His Son Jesus, to suffer and die painfully on a cross,
So when I accepted Him as my Savior, His doing this was not a total loss,
Jesus prayed God’s will be done on earth, as is it in Heaven,
God is not a loser, and He doesn’t want me to be one either, amen,
So You believe what you want to believe, and I will just expect good things,
And I will go to the sanctuary, to worship, praise, and sing,
For in my studying on it, I don’t see anything that God cannot do,
Just look to Him and you will see, He also has a miracle waiting just for you.

Broken Shackles
I looked down at my feet, and saw the shackles lying there,
The ones that had me bound in sin, when I didn’t really care,
They were smashed to pieces, so they could never be put on again,
All because Jesus saved my soul, when I called on Him,
For I was dying day by day, as sin took its awful toll,
I am now guaranteed eternal life, since Jesus controls my soul,
Everything I had thought were promises, turned out to be just lies,
For the devil wants me to go to hell, and would be smiling as I die,
But in my life Satan is defeated, Heaven the future that’s ahead,
And there is nothing I face in my life, that I now have to dread,
I will always be so grateful, for the change my Savior made in me,
Jesus has broken the shackles of my sin, and I am now eternally free.

Delivered
Lord through Moses You delivered Your people from their bonds in Egypt,
And You have delivered me from my many sins,
During their exodus the Israelites wanted to go back there several times,
But Lord I never want to go back to the place where I had been,
For it is because of the salvation I have in You,
That one day I'll walk the streets of gold,
And the first thing I want to do when I get there,
Is to see You Lord, and Your nail-scarred hands to hold,
When I pass from physical to spiritual, and arrive at Heaven's door,
When the pearly gates are opened to let me enter in,
Who else would I want to ever see when I get inside?
But the one who saved me from my sins,
But right now just thinking about that, and what a glorious time it will be,
I will praise and worship You, for all that You have done,

Eternity Gained
Lord no matter how I try, I will never know Your pain,
That You suffered on the cross, Your blood the ground below it stained,
And it is beyond my understanding, the sacrifice You made,
But I know that in my thinking, my remembering it will not fade,
For You saved me from myself, something I could never do,
The reason for this happening, is my believing in You,
I have left the devil's playground, to walk within You Way,
But it seems I'm still bumping into him, every single day,
For he still wants my soul, he don't want to let it go,
But now I am living in the presence, of the one from whom living waters flow,
And I'm sorry, yet I'm thankful, that You endured the pain,
For through Your sacrifice, eternity with You I've gained.

Willingly

Inside the Sanctuary
Sitting inside the sanctuary, with family and many friends,
Doing praise and worship, up toward Heaven it ascends,
Wanting to learn more of spiritual things, so that we can grow,
And everything about Jesus, is what we want to know,
Gaining strength to fight the daily battle, against temptation and sin,
Finding that our hope is grounded, in the faith we have in Him,
If we ever struggle, we know that we are not alone,
We just speak the name of Jesus, and the devil will be gone,
Standing together as believers, and in that name agreeing,
Thankful for all the blessings, and the miracles we're seeing,
And the passing through life is smoother, and it's easier to keep from straying,
When you're in a sanctuary, with a bunch of people praying.

Word Fruit
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, those who love it will eat its fruit,

All is Well
As I seek You in my darkest hour, Lord I will seek You when things look bright,
For You have led me out of the darkness, by Your glorious Light,
And I will not go anywhere, unless You are my guide,
For it's in Your very presence, that I long to always abide,
Like a moth's attraction to a light, it's to Your love that I am drawn,
And my heart is filled with Your hope, when I see each new dawn,
For whatever I may face in this world, I know my future is secure,
That I will spend eternity with You, after this human experience I endure,
And when I get to Heaven, I'll see loved ones there it's true,
But I also hope to see someone, that I helped get there too,
Someone I helped find Your salvation, and kept from going to hell,

When I confessed my sins, and admitted my moral destitution,
Lord You redeemed my soul, and became my sacrificial substitution,

For I want to be in an attitude of praise, so I can ever worship You,
I now know that living my life for You, is the right thing to do,
Because I can't straddle the fence, running between hot and cold,
I need to be totally Yours Lord, and take a stand that's bold,
Seeking Your will only, and being single-minded in my thoughts,
Always remembering that my eternity, has already been blood bought,

My past is not something to brag about, so filled up with my sin,
And I wonder how I survived, in some of the places that I've been,
But believing in Jesus changed my life, oh what mercy and grace,
Being in the sanctuary to worship and praise, is a much better place,
And joy and peace are wonderful, compared to bitterness and hate,
I'm so glad I became a Christian, before it was too late,
So now I know what real love is, it is of a kind only God can give,
And I pray that all others see that love, in this life that I now live,
Hallelujah and glory always to God, for showing me the Way,
Now I surely will seek to do His will, the first thing every day.

Truly Great
Lord I have read Your Word, from Genesis to Revelation,
And the reading of it takes my spirit, to a higher elevation,
More wisdom and more knowledge, is a constant yearning,
For everything about You, is what I want to be learning,
The Bible only tells a small part, of Your human story,
And I hope to learn the rest of it, when I get to glory,
I thank You for the pastors, who teach that You prosper and heal,
Who believe every word in the scriptures, and show me that they are real,
That I may apply them to my life, each and every day,
And know that You perform miracles, when in Your will I pray,
May we spread Your love around the world, before it is too late,
So others will accept Your salvation, and know Lord that You are truly great.

Love Someone Today
Of all the things we do, no act of love is ever wasted,
And to do it in God's name, is because His glory we have tasted,
For love is one of the greatest emotions, this world has ever known,
When we have the chance to share it, we need to do it before that chance is gone,
There are many people out there, that real love has never found,
Because they look in all the wrong places, not where love abounds,
For true love, that's everlasting, is the love that God is giving,
And as believers we need to share it, in these lives that we are living,
The world is not going to get any better, unless God's love we share,
Unless they see how God changed us, and that we really care,
For this love leads one to salvation, to the straight and narrow way,
So reach out in God's love, and touch a life today.

One Day With You

To hear You call me good and faithful, when I see You face to face,

Still Healing

For since I accepted Jesus as Savior, I've kept my eyes on Him,
The ways of the world today, makes it too easy to stray,
That's why I always need, to continually pray,
To ever seek Your will Lord, so that You can really use me,
Since You saved me out of bondage, life is so much better when I'm free,
I'm just letting Your love wash over me like a gentle breeze,

Among the Human Race
I woke up this morning breathing, so I thanked God for His grace,
For another chance to make a difference, among the human race,
That maybe I could help save even one, from an eternity in hell's fire,
For I know You would have none perish Lord, this too is my desire,
Maybe through some simple act, or a word spoken to them in kindness,
Will help them accept Jesus as their Savior, so Heaven they won't miss,
That they could follow in Your Light, the one that never will grow dim,
And realize that only You Lord, will forgive all of their sins,
For eternity is actually, just one heartbeat away,
So no time needs to be wasted, repent and be saved today,
Then you will know the reason, why God has brought you to this place,
And you too will want to make a difference, among the human race.

Walking With Jesus
Lord I can't see past my present circumstances, as water fills the boat,
I guess I am of little faith, wondering how much longer I'm going to float,
May I keep my eyes on You Lord, instead of looking at me,
And I won't notice the others things, it will be only You I see,
For Lord You can calm all the storms, just by Your spoken Word,
Also You help me forget, that a storm ever occurred,
Now Lord I pray each day, that my personal faith in You will grow,
So I become a stronger Christian, and all Your will for me I'll know,
And I will never be ashamed, of what I have come to believe,
For there is no greater future, than the eternal life I've received,
The storms of life are helpless, to keep me from doing what You want me to do,
And I will step out of the boat like Peter, and walk on the water with You.

Faith, hope, and love, are all such dynamic spiritual forces,
Lord You give us all of these, You are truly their source,
All three are very useful, You want us to operate in these,
We need them in our lives, so that only You we please,
To look beyond the physical, so the spiritual future we can see,
My faith in You helps me become, all You want me to be,
Hope let's me see ahead, an eternity past today,
It also keeps me walking, on the straight and narrow way,
Love truly is the greatest, of any of these three,
And love is what helps me, to really see far beyond me,

And I pray others see all three, especially love, in this life I live.

Golf Game
I am not a golfer, so playing that game for me would be tough,
And in my life for many years, I would always end up in the rough,
I don’t know the difference, between, a driver, iron, or wood,
But living in the fast lane, if it made me feel good, I’d do it if I could,
Fairways sound like a Heavenly place, but greens are something that I eat,
Yet my life was double and triple bogeys, I was going down in defeat,
But one day God called, and wanted to know if I’d let Him join my game,
And even since I let Him, well my life has never been the same,
Now in my life the drives are straighter, and I make a birdie or two,
Jesus made me a winner, and He’ll do the same for you,
And since I’ve given my life to Jesus, I believe I could ace every hole,

Changed Forever
Thank You Father for making me, into a vessel of honor,
So every day I can grow into, someone You can use more,

Thanks for the Love
Lord I am truly thankful, for what Your love has done for me,
Because that love put You on a cross, so that I can be free,
I might as well have held the hammer that drove the nails into your feet and hands,
But my sins are now forgiven, and to praise and worship You I stand,
Now my hope and trust is in You alone, You are my number one,
No human being can ever do for me Lord, anywhere near what You have done,
I’m so sorry for all the years, I’ve wasted along the way,
But I am now living my life for You, each and every day,
Now my goal is to plant the seeds of Your love, so that others may know,
That You are waiting for them, out of You living waters flow,
You can quench their thirst, that empty place in their lives fill,
Then they too will know, unlike others Your love is real.

Life Attitude
When I walk outside, I see a beautiful and magnificent sun shining,
And I think how great God is, I’m alive and don’t have time for whining,
For if I complained about everything, it would take up all my day,
So I’m going to let God handle things, He knows my needs before I pray,
Cause I can make things better, just by adjusting my attitude,
And just thinking about eternity, certainly puts me in a good mood,
For no matter what may happen, Jesus is by my side,
I can tell Him about anything, for from Him nothing I can hide,
He didn’t save my soul, just so I would be sad,
Through Him I have eternal life, that’s reason enough to be glad,
And I’m so very thankful, for His showing me His mercy and grace,
Although things aren’t always perfect, I will survive and do it wearing a happy face.

Eternally Assured
Jesus came to earth as a baby, like you and me born in the flesh,
On God’s mission of salvation, to clean up all this world’s mess,
And He grew up to be the Savior, though not accepted by all men,
He did not come to conquer the world, but to save us from our sins,
With His disciples He spread His message, so everyone would know,
The reason for His coming, and then to a cruel cross He would go,
And it might as well have been me, who nailed Him to that tree,
For when He hung there, I’m sure He was already thinking about me,
Now my future is assured, hell holds no place for me there,
For I accepted Christ as my Lord, when I saw how much He cared,
I pray that all would come to know Him, that they to would be set free,
So all could have eternal life, and live with Him throughout eternity.

Beyond Measure
Why should I waste my time, on momentary worldly pleasures?
When I have a Savior, who is my friend, and He loves me beyond measure,
And He has given me a gift, to which none can compare,
But I will not be selfish. for this gift was created to be shared,
This gift is eternal, and will never pass away,
And when I received this gift, I will never forget the day,
For Jesus offered it to me. and His gift I did receive,
I was able to get it, when I chose to believe,
This most beautiful and wonderful gift, is the gift of my salvation,
And my destiny was to be saved, even before God began creation,
And Jesus offers you this same free gift, that He has given me,
Accept it and one day I'll see you in Heaven, with Jesus and me.

Not Going Back There
Search my heart oh Lord, and see it belongs only to You,
And remove all of the trash within it, that might keep me from being true,
For life here in this world, constantly sends temptations my way,

Being a Blessing
Lord I pray I don’t do anything, to incur Your wrath,
But believe if I acknowledge You in all things, You will direct my paths,
For I have a sinful nature Lord, and sometimes have a tendency to stray,
So I have to keep my eyes on You, every moment of every day,
For each morning I wake up, is one You’ve given me to live for You,
Before I get up I pray, that You guide me in all I say and do,
I want to be a reflection of You, so that others can see,
That there is salvation in You, and You can set them free,
It doesn’t matter what the addiction, situation, or illness may be,
Jesus You can change it for the better, just like You have with me,
Thank You Lord for all You’ve done, faith in You I am confessing,
Now for all those whose lives I share today, may I be Your blessing,

Just One Small Thing
As you rushed through life today, were you friendly to someone along the way?
Did you think of one of the millions with a need, did you even stop to pray?
Are we too busy with our own lives, that we let the world just go to hell?
I hope that if it’s just with one, we would our life changing story tell,
For us as believers need to share, with everyone that God is love,
And we don’t need to be selfish, with the blessing showered on us from above,
If someone had not told me about Jesus, where would I now be?
But I’ve accepted Him as my Savior, and He has set me free,
And really it doesn’t take much, it’s not the big things that we do,
Yet just one little kindness, and they will always remember you,
So slow down and think about, what joy that you could bring,
You could change another person’s life, just by doing one small thing.

To Know His Grace
I’ve accepted Jesus as my Savior, and I’m saved by God’s amazing grace,
It was a very easy decision, when I saw eternity face to face,
For hell is the final destination, for all those who are lost,
But as for the price of salvation, Jesus has already paid the cost,
He is waiting for your answer, as He is saving souls still,
So I do my very best, to stay right in the middle of God’s will,
Every second of our lives, it should be where we constantly walk,
For anytime and anywhere I want, me and Jesus can have a little talk,
Because of Him I have hope, and can face every day,
Without worrying about the future, may you also have this peace I pray,
In eternity may you realize, that Heaven is the better place,

Parting the Waters
As the pastor stirs the baptismal waters, oh what a beautiful sight,
To know that a new believer, is now walking in God's light,
And I pray that these Christians babies, will daily seek to grow,
So that the perfect will of God, they can come to know,
May we as fellow Jesus lovers, help them keep walking in God's way,
For it truly is a way of life, all need to follow every day,
Cause the devil wants that soul, and will do anything to get it back,
This is why it is so important, that they stay on the right track,
So they don't get derailed, we need to set our standards high,
That we are good examples, the Bible the words that we live by,
Being baptized is a great place, for a new Christian to start,
For it truly is a public display, that shows Jesus now lives in their heart.

To Count For Something
I want my life to count for something, oh Lord while I am here,
And I pray whatever I am doing, I won't be ashamed to have You near,
But Lord I need You to take my hand, because I want You to lead,
It is Your will I seek to do, and Your guidance I really need,
For I am human Lord, and have a tendency to slip,
That is why I need You to hold me, and maintain a firm grip,
