Rejoicing in the Hope

I meditate on Your Word Lord, and Your peace fills my heart,
I pray that all the wisdom in it, to me You will impart,
For learning makes it easier, to walk within Your Way,
It helps me draw closer to You, each and every day,
And I rejoice in the hope, that I find in You,
I've departed from my old life, and look forward to the new,
Life that has a future, no turning to the past,
Looking ahead with the promise, of an eternity that lasts,
And the cross Lord that You died on, I always keep in my thoughts,
For it's where my sins were paid for, where they were blood-bought,
And I know You will bless my efforts, for my faith is real,
Because Your will for my life, is what I want to fulfill.
