His Final Call

I know it's never easy, when we have to say goodbye,
For when a loved one passes, seems we just want to cry,
It seems living day to day, takes a super human effort,
For we know that during family time, we will be one hug short,
I pray that our God's perfect peace, will right now fill your heart,
And though it's hard to realize, His love never will depart,
For none of us knows when, we will answer God's final call,
But unless Jesus returns, He surely will call us all,
I hope you remember the good things, the good times in the past,
For I am sure in your mind's eye, those memories will last,
I also pray that all the hurting, of your loss will go away,
And that you will feel the very presence, of our loving God today.
