The sun eased up this morning, its brightness I could almost hear,
And the chirping in the trees, sounded like the birds giving it a cheer,
The heat of the day started early, burning through my shirt,
Looking out over my garden, I see new plants pushing through the dirt,
I am thankful God has given me, another beautiful day,
I pray that as I live it, that I would seek His Way,
For life is way too short, to miss any of God's glory,
And I hope He will only see good things, as I live my life's story,
To only seek the spiritual, and to resist the flesh,
For I know that God really loves me, in this I'm truly blessed,
Because I know His salvation, and have forgiveness for my sins,
And I know I'll have another beautiful morning, either here or living with Him.
