In My Heart

I always think of You Lord, You are constantly on my mind,
And I love searching in Your Word, to see what riches I will find,
To read about the life of Jesus, of these stories I never tire,
Especially the ones about His miracles, they set my soul on fire,
To know that that same power, is available to me,
And to know it is that power, that can set a lost soul free,
Yet for a soul to be set free, there is only one way,
And God provided that way, when Jesus hung on a cross one day,
He hung on that old rugged cross, to save us from our sins,
And when He saved us from our sins, new life was found in Him,
In this new life we will be sanctified, forever set apart,
That's why Jesus is ever on my mind, and why He's always in my heart.
