In the Kingdom of Light

I have left the kingdom of darkness, to dwell in the kingdom of light,

Rejecting all the bad things and evil in my life, to do only what is right,

For sin breeds more sin in a life, that harvest not a good way to end,

So my salvation is what I will nurture, and on my Jesus I will depend,

Yet Satan doesn't know he's defeated, my soul he still tries to possess,

But God ever loves and protects me, and God is the one who will bless,

Now I will walk with my Savior, ever walking His narrow Way,

Showered in righteousness and truth, drawing me down to my knees to pray,

More and more it seems I am chasing, the beauty of doing God's will,

For with each step I take in that direction, His presence becomes more real,

And the more I study the Bible, the better my spiritual eyesight,

For there is no future in the darkness, but eternity lives in the Light.
