Thankful

Lord I have a thankful heart, for You sustain me through my earthly dealings,
Just as I believe You for my salvation, that also includes my healing,
And I cannot find either one, by looking at any other,
But just like You I can pray for the sick, and expect them to recover,
For just like in the Bible, today God's power is the same,
And miracles can still occur, by our calling on Jesus' name,
I guess we're too interested in living here, and trying to please man,
Instead of seeking the will of God, and fulfilling His master plan,
So Lord help me to be faithful, and resist the temptation of sin,
For death and hell I left behind, Jesus saved me from what I had been,
Now favor and blessings rain down on me, much more than I deserve,
That is why Lord I will follow You, and only You will I serve.
