Oh Lord may I not waste my life, in search of worldly pleasures,
But seek instead to dwell in Your presence, where blessings are beyond measure,
For it is a dire eternity, that awaits sinful women and men,
I choose to walk with You Lord, the forgiver of all sin,
There is nothing to be gained, by looking to the things of this earth,
So I will look to the cross, where the plan of salvation was birthed,
Being thankful for the sacrifice, offered by God above,
Realizing I will never know, just how great is His love,
Sometimes wondering if there is any way, this debt I can repay,
But learning that He just wants me, to live in His will each day,
So I will be ever thankful, for everything God has given me,
And my daily mission in life, is becoming all He wants me to be.
