Thank You My Friend

I hope that you are doing well and prospering, as you receive this greeting,
It's been so long since I've seen you, I look forward to our next meeting,
For so many years I've known, that on you I can depend,
And it comes from deep within my heart, when I call you my friend,
In everything good or bad, you have stood by my side,
With you I have no secrets, but always in you I can confide,
Even in giving my eulogy, only good things would you say,
And though you haven't told me, I know you think of me when you pray,
So how could I wish you anything, but that your life is a success,
And in everything you hand touches, may the good Lord bless,
So in my thinking of my life's journey, all the places I have been,
I think of you and for the parts we shared, thank you my friend.
