In His Peace

Even in the worst storm, when I face my fears,
I can find a peace Lord, in knowing You are near,
For my sins are ever present, and the devil is always after me,
Yet as hard as Satan tries to blind me, Lord it is Your truth I see,
And I know You will not cause me harm, by anything You do,
That is why with all my heart, I place all my trust in You,
But if You ever decide that it is time, to call me to Your side,
Lord I can honestly say that is the place, I want to ultimately abide,
So I choose to learn more about You, as to me You become more real,
And my prayer is that I don't pursue my way, but ever seek Your will,
For that is the only way I can become, everything You want me to be,
And I know eternity will be sweeter and kinder, since You have set me free.
