God Smiled

I don't know what tomorrow holds, so I will live for today,
And hope I am prepared to face it, as I seek God's will and pray,
For even in any uncertainty, my faith will ever be strong,
And I will keep my focus on Jesus, right where it belongs,
Believing that He will protect me, as all the storms of life do rage,
Because every day is a spiritual battle, that I have to wage,
And God helps me to clean up things, if I make a mess,
By His love, grace, and mercy, I am continually blessed,
So I will seek to be a servant, and people all around me serve,
Showing them that my Savior always gives, more than I deserve,
And if any situation in my life calls for it, I hope to go that extra mile,
For when God looks at my heart, I want to believe that God will smile.
