As I walk through this earthly life, filled with all kinds of sin,
I have to focus on Jesus, and keep my eyes on Him,
For it is just a short step, to fall back to my past,
But I have chosen an eternity with Jesus, one that will always last,
Your presence is overwhelming, such a beautiful and wonderful feeling,
Lord I'm thankful You give salvation, and also for Your healing,
I don't understand how people survive, without calling out to You,
For You are always faithful, and Your promises are always true,
I pray You give me wisdom, and that in my faith I will stand,
So others come to know You Lord, and experience this glory oh so grand,
Lord I look forward to the day, when I'm not dwelling in this sinful flesh,
Knowing that I will be with You, yes I am truly blessed.
