Though I am not promised tomorrow, I am thankful for today,
I've gotten used to this place called earth, but it is not where I will stay,
For Jesus has promised me a better place, since I've accepted Him,
And there is no better feeling, than knowing I'm forgiven for my sins,
Eternity is waiting for my arrival, I'll be living with Christ my King,
And when I get there I will have forever, to praise Him and to sing,
It will be so glorious and wonderful, to walk the streets of gold,
Even now it is great in knowing, He is security for my soul,
The hope and peace He gives me, overcomes my fears,
And my heart overflows with love, just knowing Jesus is near,
So I will always seek Him, and out of His presence never stray,
For the best place I can be, is within His will for me everyday.
