Every Morning

Lord every morning when I get up, I decide if the day is about You or about me,
If I am going to regress to the bondage of my sins, or in You remain free,
I pray I don't let something insignificant, really cause a mess,
And that I don't seek pleasure in my selfish greed, but allow You Lord to bless,
For I would not even be alive, if it were not for You,
So I should seek Your will, in everything I do,
To share the message of Your salvation, to truly share Your love,
And not look to the things on this earth, but keep looking at things above,
For life's battle is not in the physical, but is a spiritual one,
And all the ammunition we need to fight it, is provided by God's Son,
So when I got up this morning, I choose to show my faith is real,
And I am going to accomplish this, by living my life in God's will.
