Birthed American
What joy we find in singing, this land is your land, this land is my land,
But as any tyranny seeks to change that, we will ever against it stand,
For it is not without a price, that our country is free,
And I am thankful every day, for the lives given so this could be,
The ultimate sacrifice not wasted, so Old Glory can still fly,
May we also remember their families, who still miss them and still cry,
Standing with pride singing our national anthem, with my hand across my heart,
Thankful to be birthed an American, instilled in me from the start,
For God truly has blessed us all, we have an abundance of everything,
Now with faithful diligence and watchfulness, of liberty I sing,
I honor those who laid out freedom's foundation, may God our heritage save,
As we will forever be the land of the free, and the home of the brave.
