Obedience

Lord when I hear You speaking, may I always obey,
For in hearing Your Word, You give my life direction by what You say,
You are the greatest teacher, may I Your student be,
So I will find everything, that You have in store for me,
For You Lord plan good things for me, not anything that's bad,
And You Lord want me to be happy, never depressed and sad,
And on the days when it seems, this world is falling apart,
I will have no fear, for You Lord guard my heart,
So may I never do anything, to ever cause You shame,
For it is me that changes, but You Lord always remain the same,
Now may I ever seek Your will, every single day,
And may I listen so I will hear You, and may I always obey.
