Eternal Worship

I can walk every day, without fear of my eternity,
Because of a Savior who hung on a cross, while He was thinking of me,
For I have accepted the salvation, that was birthed that day,
And the creator of My salvation, is the one to whom I pray,
The crucifixion of Jesus, displayed the greatest love ever known,
Now even if I walk through the valley, I know I am not alone,
For my Lord walks beside me, no matter where I trod,
And who is a better companion, than the Son of God?
Now I will seek to share salvation, with the life I live,
For the Lord is not selfish with eternal life, it is a gift He freely gives,
So I will forever praise and honor, the one who set me free,
And I ever look forward to worshipping Him, throughout eternity.

A Spiritual Tree

Lord I learn and grow, as Your Holy Word I read,
And may it always prompt me, to plant Your spiritual seed,
For the power of death and life, are in the words I say,
And as I am choosing life, I seek Your will more every day,
And I would never steer anyone, toward their eternal death and hell,
But the truth of Your salvation, is the message I will tell,
I have plenty of faith in You Lord, but I can always use more,
And I pray that Your many blessings, on me You will continually pour,
For when I am in Your presence, there is no room for doubt,
That is why I am so eager, to share what You are all about,
So I am constantly seeking, what You want me to be,
And may You grow me Lord, into a mighty fruitful spiritual tree.

I Call Him Savior

Lord may I be part of the cycle, Your holy Heavenly process,
So I will be fruitful sharing Your salvation, something You will bless,
For I want everyone to know, that I live for You,
And I want everyone to know, that You can make their heart brand new,
For Lord You are still creating, yes even today,
And I don't have any doubt, that You hear me when I pray,
May I be Your hands and feet, and also be Your voice,
So in the sharing of Your truth, I can help others make the right choice,
With all that's going on around the world, one would think the end is near,
Lord that's not for me to know, but I can face it without fear,
So whatever happens tomorrow, I know the sun will rise again,
So I am going to point others to my Savior, so they can find forgiveness for their sins.

Out of the Gutter

Lord just let one drop of Your glory, fall on me from Heaven above,
For I want to feel Your wonderful presence and walk within Your love,
This world is always trying to peck away, at the truth that I believe,
But I will not go back to my old life, will not let Satan deceive,
I will keep my eyes on You Lord, to learn all You would have me know,
So I can stay on the straight and narrow way, the way I need to go,
For I lived life in this world's gutter, the place You Lord saved me from,
So to turn back toward eternal death, would be really dumb,
I will gather with my fellow Christians, to give You honor and praise,
And I will thank You for my salvation, every single day,
My heart is full of gratitude, for all You have done for me,
And I can only imagine, how glorious Heaven will be.

No Sinful Thought

When a sinful thought enters my mind Lord, will You just push it on through,
For I don't want to dwell on it, but want to keep my focus on You,
If I am to live by the Spirit, then by the Spirit I will walk,
So may all my actions reflect You, in how I act and talk,
When I am in Your presence, and the Spirit starts to flow,
There's not any room for Satan, so he will just have to go,
For I chose to live my life, on a higher plane,
And within the will of God, is where I want to remain,
I have tried the things Satan offered, decided it's not where I want to be,
For when I accepted Jesus as my Savior, I found this is the place for me,
So I will fill my mind with God's Word, and seek more of Him each day,
For it doesn't take a genius to figure out, Jesus is the only Way.

Still

For the most part it's smooth sailing, on the sea of life,
And I would rather it be that way, and not have to deal with strife,
But there are times when something rocks the boat, making me a little queasy,
And then I have to face the facts, surviving ain't always easy,
Yet as the waters roll over me, chilling me to the bone,
And I feel sorry for myself, thinking all hope is gone,
There's a small voice within that asks me, who controls your soul,
And I come to my senses and realize, that my anchor holds,
For Jesus is my anchor, no matter what I may face,
And He is always with me, all the time and any place,
Life cannot always be tranquil, its winds and waves are real,
But Jesus looks out over my life's troubled sea, and says peace be still.

He Said I Forgive

As I look back over my life, I've done some things folks won't forgive me,
I thought it was a part of growing up, to become what I wanted to be,
Six days a week were mine, as long as I gave the Lord Sunday,
I guess I was kind of stubborn, but I liked to have my way,
Sin was a part of my everyday life, and I had no regrets,
I did not at that time realize, I was building an eternal debt,
Then one day I met Jesus, and He became more than just a name,
He took control of my heart, and my life will never be the same,
My religion was very lukewarm, and double-minded I had been,
But My religion became a relationship, when Jesus saved me from my sins,
I went to the Lord on humble knees, seeking change from the way I lived,
And in spite of all my sins I heard Him say those precious words, I forgive.

Growing Into Knowing

Lord in Your growing my faith, may I become what You want me to be,
And by being planted in Your Word, may I be a fruitful tree,
So others may taste the glory, found only in You,
To experience Your salvation, so You can make them brand new,
As a tree Lord You keep me healthy, for You are always the cure,
For by Your stripes I am made well and saved, of this I’m absolutely sure,
I am thankful for the forgiveness, that You always give,
And I pray it always shows, in the way I live,
For some will never enter a church, or the Bible read,
So Lord I will be Your sower, and plant salvation's seed,
And You can nourish it tenderly, so that it will grow,
For Lord it is my heart's desire, that You they come to know.

Always the Same

Lord as to my growing spiritually, You truly are the reason,
For I have found Your love for me, is always in season,
You are my one true constant, and You are ever the same,
Forever in Your presence, is where I seek to remain,
For outside of You the whole world, seems to be falling apart,
But whatever happens on this earth, Lord I know You hold my heart,
I will with a true passion, seek to know Your will,
And if I were to stumble, Lord I know You love me still,
For I am not a perfect human being, and can do some things so wrong,
But in my growing in You Lord, my faith continues strong,
So in walking through this earthly existence, to You I will be true,
And with all of my being, I will show my love to You.

Not to Be Feared

If my life were to end today, and I stepped into eternity,
I have the faith to know, I'd be right where I want to be,
Into the presence of my Savior, standing by His side,
A utopia of a paradise, where I will forever abide,
And I will see my loved ones, whom I haven't seen in years,
A gift beyond description, when their voices again I hear,
A place where I can spend each minute, in worship and in praise,
Of the one who truly saved me, in His honor my hands I raise,
For He cleaned up my life, of which I had made a mess,
And I will bow in His presence, for my life is now so blessed,
So in hearing some proclaim, that the end of this world is near,
I will stand prepared for Heaven, it is not something that I fear.

Obedience

Lord when I hear You speaking, may I always obey,
For in hearing Your Word, You give my life direction by what You say,
You are the greatest teacher, may I Your student be,
So I will find everything, that You have in store for me,
For You Lord plan good things for me, not anything that's bad,
And You Lord want me to be happy, never depressed and sad,
And on the days when it seems, this world is falling apart,
I will have no fear, for You Lord guard my heart,
So may I never do anything, to ever cause You shame,
For it is me that changes, but You Lord always remain the same,
Now may I ever seek Your will, every single day,
And may I listen so I will hear You, and may I always obey.

Submitting to Him

Lord I pray that in my living, I don't rebel but I submit,
For I know Your will for my life, will always be a perfect fit,
Before I ever met You, I existed in rebellion,
But when I made You my Savior, I experienced a revelation,
And I saw the whole truth, that You presented to me,
So to worship in Your holiness, I bow down on bended knee,
For I don't want to do anything, unless it honors You,
So I want to live my life, reflecting Your making my heart brand new,
I know growing in my faith, is a wonderful daily process,
And as I am maturing in it, I can see how much You bless,
Now as the world rushes closer each day, toward their eternity,
I am thankful mine is secure, since I submitted my life to Thee.

My Life's Blueprint

As I praise and worship Jesus, God's only Son whom He sent,
To become my salvation, the one who drew my life's blueprint,
Who was thinking about me, as He hung on a rugged cross,
And He calmed the seas of my life, when they were storm-tossed,
May I be a student of Your Word, as I seek to learn,
What You want me to be, it is for You Lord that I yearn,
For none other has the power, to save a sinful soul,
So of every part of my life, I want You Lord to have control,
And I want my own two eyes, to have Your spiritual sight,
I also want my steps, to be guided by Your marvelous light,
Because You Lord touched my heart, and from my sins I repent,
So that I never want to stray, from my life's blueprint.

By Your Hand

Oh Lord to be a part of Your body is not a sacrifice, but an honor,
And for everything I learn about You, it makes me want to know more,
For I do not want to be first, but I want to humbly serve,
Because You have given me an eternity, so much more than I deserve,
And how could I ever forget, that You died for me?
For my soul once imprisoned by sin, You truly have set free,
The fragrance of Your presence, is a wonderful aroma of love,
So I can concentrate my being, on the good things from above,
You Lord help me to resist, all the devil has to offer,
For it is by Your hand, that miracles occur,
Now Lord I pray that on my life, Your total will You would impart,
Because You Lord are my Savior, and You Lord own my heart.

From Forever Until Forever

Oh Lord how can I put my trust, in anyone but You?
For to put my trust in the things of this world, is not the thing to do,
I need You Lord to chart my course in life, where I need to go,
For the best thing I can do, is Your true will to know,
My living needs to be connected, to the living vine,
To You Lord the only one, who can change the water into wine,
Who also changed this old sinful heart, that beats inside of me,
For I once saw only in the earthly, but now in the spiritual I can see,
Eternity with You Lord, is the choice that I have made,
With all of me I love you, and that love will never fade,
As sure as the sun will rise in the morning, drying up the morning dew,
I will from forever until forever, always put my trust in You.

Nothing Spared

In a time when the world was dying in its sin, and was full of despair,
God was faithful to His promises, and even His Son He did not spare,
But sent Jesus to be born on this earth, and become a sacrifice for all,
And eternal life was given to everyone, who on His name did call,
For God would have none perish, for He loves everyone,
Only His Son is our salvation, not anything we're doing or have done,
If we wait until we think we're ready, then we will wait too long,
All need to accept Jesus as Savior, it is where our souls belong,
We should become one with the only one, who can forgive our sinful mess,
When we start living for Him, then He will truly bless,
Look to the cross and you will find, just how much God really cares,
For God loves you so very much, that even His Son He did not spare.

No Stone Unturned

In my search for knowledge of You Lord, I will leave no stone unturned,
For my passion for You, deeply in my heart does burn,
And I seek to be more righteous, in the way I live,
Because in all You've given me, I also want to give,
With everything that is happening around me, to You I will be true,
For in seeking for my purpose, I have found the truth in You,
Only You will I worship, and only You will I praise,
I will pursue Your will to serve You better, for all of my days,
When I pass from this earthly life, then I'll be Yours through eternity,
For there is none other I can call Savior, You are the one who has saved me,
This is why I study Your Word, so that I can ever learn,
Everything I can about You, and leave no stone unturned.
