To Your Attention

Lord in all I do and say, I pray I don't draw any attention,

To myself but point to You, and the path to Your redemption,

For I want to be a pure vessel, an instrument You can use,

To share Your love with a lost world, the message of good news,

That Jesus was born of a virgin, walked this earth, died on a cross,

This birthed the plan of salvation, so none had to suffer eternal loss,

So that any could make the choice, not to take the path to hell,

This is the message Lord I need to speak, the truth I need to tell,

For You would have none perish, and this is exactly how I feel too,

For Lord You are the only Way, and life really is all about You,

I will point all I meet to You Lord, toward good things and Heaven above,

So they will seek Your forgiveness, and they will want Your love.

Simple But Enough

Until I met You Lord, I didn't know anyone could love me so much,

That my heart could be made new, just by Your saving touch,

For I only had earthly knowledge, concerning this thing everyone calls love,

But it is nothing compared, to the love birthed in Heaven above,

Once I lived only to do my will, what thrilled and entertained me,

Until I believed in You Lord, then the real truth I could see,

I've found You are amazing, after I called upon Your name,

And now I'm washed clean by Your blood, my life will never be the same,

Now as to those blinded by the devil, I pray You open up their eyes,

For You were even thinking of them, while You hung on a cross to die,

The simple message of salvation, preached that day on Calvary,

Though simple it is enough, to change anyone's eternity.

Being Useful

Lord as to Your Word and will, I pray You will enlighten me,

Because the path that You would have me walk, I want to plainly see,

For I am not of this world, but I have to dwell here now,

So I want to follow You exactly, but I truly just want to know how,

You have given me Your Holy Bible, to give the directions that I need,

Let me strive to show Your love perfectly, in every word and deed,

And I look forward every day, for You are the blessing I receive,

Touching my life constantly, because of the truth that I believe,

May my thoughts and actions be holy, for I want to be sanctified,

So everyone will know the reason, why You came to this earth and died,

That their salvation hangs in the balance, that is their eternity,

Please fill me with Your knowledge, so I can be all You want me to be.

Total Control

No matter what the devil throws at me, Lord I will still look to You,

For the devil is a liar, and You are all that's good and true,

How pretty a picture Satan paints, trying to draw us away,

But I use my spiritual eyes seeing his evil, and follow You each day,

For Lord the future looks pretty bad, unless You're in my eternity,

I traveled too long on the wrong road, until You changed this heart in me,

Now I know this earthly life isn't perfect, no matter how hard I strive,

But I will still seek Your perfection, You make living worth being alive,

I will worship and praise You my Savior, no words can express how I feel,

But I'll do all that's humanly possibly, to show You that my faith is real,

Lord may I seek Yours and not my will, that You can have total control,

And Satan can just stay in hell, for Lord You possess my soul.
