Recreated Holy

Lord I'm at peace and I'm grateful, for Your presence twenty four/seven, For it is an awesome feeling, knowing You're looking down on me from Heaven, And I realize You're keeping me from the evil one, as long as I am here, For You consider each and every soul, to be precious and so dear, But Lord some we are living with, have not accepted Your salvation, And I need to be a part here, of their having a spiritual revelation, For in my living a Christian life, I need to share the story oh so old, The one all about You Lord, and how You can save their soul, So they will understand, that Heaven and hell are very real, But Lord You are very patient, and they can make the right choice still, To change and become a believer, giving them a brand new start, So they can become a member of Your body, as You recreate their heart. Obeying

Lord may I never miss knowing, every time You prosper me, In the course of passing through my humanness, I have times I do not see, A blessing that You've bestowed, or a touch of Your mercy and grace, Or I may forget that Your presence, truly is a special place, And in the living of this earthly life, may I not get in such a rush, That I don't enjoy the little things, and then listen to the hush, For this world can push one to their limits, and it can get too loud, So Lord I need to slow down, and be more humble, and less proud, Because every day is the time, for me to seek and do Your will, Then in my obeying You Lord, I see Your promises become real, And I will never be surprised, when Your miracles occur, For Lord You are the cure for what ails me, and You want me to prosper. An Awesome Place

Oh to know I have a mansion in Heaven, on its mailbox is my name,
And if you are a believer, than you can expect the same,
For Jesus has prepared an awesome place, for me to spend eternity,
And I will rejoice and praise Him, for His salvation freely given me,
For I was hell-bent on my soul's destruction, until He called my name,
If I had not accepted Him, then only I would be to blame,
I am thankful for the wisdom, that I finally saw the light,
That drew me from the clutches, of sin's horrible night,
Now the devil cannot have me, though he tempts me every day,
For I will keep my faith in You Lord, read the Bible, and constantly pray,
Sharing what You've given me, the greatest love that is so true,
So they too can have that Heavenly mansion, if they believe in You.

Created to Worship

I was created to worship my Savior, and that is what I am going to do,
For He changed my heart when I believed on Him, when He made me brand new,
And my past is not worth remembering, not even a memory,
For I am walking on the narrow Way, toward my Heavenly eternity,
Now my faith is always growing, each and every day,
And dwelling in God's presence, is where I plan to stay,
For the world is far too dangerous, but in Jesus I am safe and secure,
The timeline of my human existence, He does help me endure,
But we do not need to miss the opportunity, to complete His will,
To share our salvation with others, who need to know that God is real,
So they get the opportunity, to meet the one who forgives sin,
Then they too will know the reason, why I worship Him.

Constantly Reminded

In my mind's eye I see Calvary's cross, but then there is that empty grave,
While wallowing in my sin I believed, and found Jesus is mighty to save,
There are things I've done in my past, that now God does not remember,
And today I am proud to say, of Christ's body I am a member,
For the sins of my whole lifetime, have all been washed as white as snow,
And God's will is what I want, to point my feet in the direction I need to go,
For within myself I made a mess of things, and did not do very well,
The lifestyle I had chosen, was leading me straight to hell,
But God did not give up on me, He saw a future I could not see,
Now I have chosen Him, and seek to be all He wants me to be,
I've found life is so much easier, when my thoughts are on things above,
And that cross that I can picture, constantly reminds me of God's love.

In His Brightness

God has drawn me to Himself from the darkness, which wanted to control,
My very being, and now He shines His beautiful light, into my very soul,
I look forward to each day, thankful to experience another glorious dawn,
Ever thankful that my Savior, claims me as one of His very own,
And He is always consecrating me, truly setting me apart,
For I am constantly growing into a new being, since Jesus changed my heart,
In the Lamb's Book of Life my name is written, because of His blood,
I can feel His love flowing through me, like a torrential flood,
I will not be religiously minded, but will have a kingdom mind,
And I will study in God's Word, so His will for my life I can find,
In the light of my Savior's presence, there is no place the darkness can hide,
And the devil cannot touch me, if in the brightness of God's glory I abide.

Just For Now

Although my mind is telling me I'm young, I can tell my body is wearing out,
But one day I will step out of this flesh, into a new body there is no doubt,
For I believe the promises of God, because they never fail,
I've accepted the salvation of my Savior, so I don't worry about hell,
And when I enter eternity one day, and see Jesus face to face,
It will be all about Him, and I will forget about this earthly place,
The good things that I have experienced here, thinking I was having a blast,
Are nothing in the eternal, and I find God saved the best for last,
And any day now God could send Jesus here, to call His children to Him,
We'll be gone in the twinkling of an eye, faster than He forgave our sins,
But for now to be exactly in God's will, is my daily goal,
For the only reason I want linger here, is to help God save more souls.

By A Simple Faith

As the ruler of this earth looks all around, seeking whom he may devour,
I find security in my faith in God, He is ever my strong tower,
The devil is persistent, wanting to draw me into his night,
But I keep my eyes on Jesus, He is my never failing light,
And when Satan tries to ruin my life, sending his evil full of wrath,
I ignore the pressures of sin, and keep my feet on the narrow path,
For I've tried the pleasures of this world, they will leave you empty still,
But I heard Jesus calling to me, from the cross on Calvary's hill,
And through a simple prayer to Him, I truly came to believe,
He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, His salvation I receive,
Now in His presence I will dwell, and from it I will not depart,
For each day I am learning more and more, my Lord loves me with all His heart.

I Am a Member

As I am a member of our Lord's body, of His flesh and of His bones,
I also am being built up a spiritual house, just as living stones,
And on earth as it is in Heaven, may Your will be done,
I choose the narrow path set before me, by God's only Son,
There is no other I call Savior, Jesus You are my eternity,
My salvation was secured by Your blood, when You died on Calvary,
Also by the stripes You suffered, I am truly healed,
Each day my faith in You, grows to be more and more real,
Lord thanks for forgiving all I've wasted, may I become all You want me to be,
For I know You have a special plan in motion, especially for me,
May my life ever be the means, that only points others to You,
Because like You I want everyone, to become a member of Your body too.
