A Forever Love

Lord Your love is like a raging fire, that will ever burn,
And that love always surrounds me, protecting me at every turn,
Also that love reminds me, how much You show me mercy and grace,
One day I will thank You for it, when we are face to face,
Your love is indescribable, greater than any other,
Greater even than the love, given to me by my mother,
And there is so much of Your love Lord, that my heart overflows,
So much that I want to share it, everywhere I go
It is this love that birthed salvation, by the life You gave,
And in one's accepting You as Savior, from their sins You will save,
So I will glory in Your love, it is a fire that will be quenched never,
For it is an eternal love, that will last past forever.

Just You

Baby you don't know what you do to me, with just a simple touch,
I don't know if my heart can stand beating like that, for very much,
Now every once in a while it's okay, to experience a little PDA,
But you can get me going, to where I don't know what to say,
There aren't any words in the dictionary, describing how you make me feel,
I realize the only thing the French are good at is kissing, that's for real,
For you truly are the key, that makes my engine start,
And you could be arrested for a felony, the way you stole my heart,
But I won't be pressing charges, I'm just glad that you were sent,
To me when I needed love, you showed me what it really meant,
Now even though I can't think of anything, that one might consider clever,
I can say with everything I am, that I will love you forever.

Vigilant

God I am glad that You are ever vigilant, never taking a vacation,
From the Garden of Eden, through Jesus, into Heaven, we see Your will's revelation,
May our life's work even into eternity, be to fellowship with You,
For there is no greater commission, that we can ever do,
And may I live my life for You, even in the smallest task,
In the tiniest thing that I may do, for Your guidance I will ask,
For You Lord give me wisdom and knowledge, more than I'll ever need,
So when I hear You speaking to me, then Your voice I will heed,
Because I know the daily load of living, will not be more than I can bear,
But it will be a matter of rejoicing, as Your love we gladly share,
So I thank You Lord for the sacrifice, that You have made for me,
Now may I be vigilant in walking in Your Way, throughout eternity.

Forgiver of Sin

Oh God I am so thankful for Jesus, and pray I'll be more like Him,
The author of eternal salvation, who is truly the only forgiver of sin,
Who hung on a rugged cross, bearing all of sin's great weight,
Lord I pray everyone will accept You, before it is too late,
May we accept the commission, You have given to us all,
Who are Christians, it is just simply, answering Your call,
Going out into a world, that is dying every day,
Sharing the gospel story of You Lord, the one to whom we pray,
For no one knows the exact moment, when each of us will leave,
So we need to stand up every chance we get, sharing what we believe,
With Jesus as our Savior, we will never return to where we once had been,
And we will live eternally, with the forgiver of our sin.

Connected

Lord as I walk through this earthly journey, You make my life complete,
And I know Your precious blood, covers me from my head down to my feet,
I have a lifeline with You, that nothing can ever sever,
All of my praise and worship, I will give to You forever,
I will always be thankful, for our holy connection,
And I will live my life to honor You, for everything You've done,
May the devil never come near me, my past is behind a closed door,
Lord help me reject temptation, as I await what eternity has in store,
For me and everyone else, that are wholly trusting You,
Expecting Your hand to guide me, in all I may say or do,
And I'll cherish the day I can bow down, humbly at Your feet,
For truly Lord You and You only, have made my life complete.

Bouquet

Oh my dear you are a bouquet of beauty, you share it with me everyday,
And some days I am overwhelmed by it, left without any words to say,
It is awesome just being with you, I'm glad you have chosen me,
The love that I have inside me is yours, because you have set it free,
And no one else can take it from me, I give it all to you,
For you have captured my heart, to only you I will be true,
To live happily ever after, is not only a fairy tale,
It can become a reality, and apply to us as well,
For you are ever on my mind, through every day and all my nights,
I truly believe my first glimpse of you, was love at first sight,
All of our future together, I am anxious to see,
For we have a love that will surely last, throughout eternity.

Seeking His Will

As I survive this earthly life, I know that nearby angels are hovering,
And I am assured because all my sins, Your precious blood is covering,
I wake every morning Lord, thanking You for another day,
And every spare moment I feel is the time, to just pray and pray and pray,
For who can I trust any more than You, to guide the path I trod,
So I have accepted Your free gift of salvation, You are my only God,
Because I will never find spiritual direction, in any earthly things,
But I find it with my eyes on the Heavenly, to Your truths I will cling,
Never looking back to where I came from, there is no eternity there,
For my past dishonors why You came Lord, and the cross You came to bear,
I know You are looking at my heart, and knowing my faith is real,
So I will read Your Word pursuing You, and always seek Your will.

A Beautiful Salvation

Oh Lord the beauty I see around me, is a visual bouquet to my eyes,
For what is prettier than a new sunrise, painted across a clear blue sky,
Or smelling salt air as the waves splash, on a snow white beach,
Still in the greatness of all Your creation, You are within my reach,
Just being within Your presence, always gives my soul a thrill,
And in my life You become more real, as I learn more about Your will,
To overcome temptations, to do what You would have me do,
Praying that everything I accomplish, will always bring honor to You,
So the world will know that it is in Your Way, I am always walking,
And the testimony I have of You, will be reflected in my talking,
I am thankful for Your grace and mercy, all the blessings that You give,
For living within the beauty of Your salvation, is a perfect place to live.

Just the Mention of Your Name

At just the mention of Your name Lord, all of Satan's demons flee,
Your name also heals, from the bondage of sickness I am set free,
And in reading through Your Word, I find out what I need to be,
You also cure the blindness of my sins, so Your truth I can see,
I identify with You Lord, as the Savior of my soul,
And in each step of life I take, to Your hand I will hold,
I know that you will prosper me, in everything I do,
As long as what I'm doing, keeps me pointed straight at You,
And as I fight my spiritual battle, against the one who kills and steals,
In my victory over him Lord, I know Your glory will be revealed,
So now I am walking in Your Way, and will never be the same,
For I have learned the power, of just the mention of Your name.

A Glorious Salvation

Lord I can spend my lifetime, learning about You,
For every day as I search Your Word, I learn something new,
I accept the Bible as the truth, in its entirety,
And I will seek Your will in it, what You want me to be,
The Lord's prayer is the perfect example, guiding me when I pray,
I now know that my personal relationship with You Lord, is the only Way,
In Your dying on the cross, You would have done it for me alone,
I can thank You eternally for changing my heart, that I thought was stone,
So now I will use Your Word, as You fill my life up with its power,
To protect me from the tempter, every second of every minute of every hour,
For that old devil, Satan, still thinks that I can be deceived,
But I will ever praise You Lord, for this glorious salvation I've received.

Openly

Lord may I create an environment, where Your love shines through,
Where everyone I meet each day, will know I walk with You,
For I do not want to be the reason, that someone goes to hell,
But rather they can all say, with my soul all is well,
For by this world's ways and standards, no one will ever be saved,
But only by accepting Jesus as Savior, through the life He freely gave,
For life on earth is too short, one minute we should not waste,
We should freely share our Jesus, so the living waters they can taste,
For many have never heard about Jesus, that He died for all their sins,
So they remain in the same old rut, sinning again and again,
May we point them toward our Savior, so they forsake their old ways for new,
Being saved from the devil's ways, moving into a spiritual environment too.
So they make the right choice, regarding their eternity,
To break the bonds of the earthly culture, so they can be free,
Finding Christianity is a lifestyle, to be lived openly day by day,
And no temptation will draw us in, if in our Lord's presence we all stay.
